Personal & Professional Statement

“I am happy to get first timers, skeptics or just plain old curious clients. To me, Eastern Medicine isn't a mystical occurrence but simply another choice among many beneficial healing modalities. I embrace the principle that healing is both an objective and subjective experience, a paradigm that attracts many to Eastern Medicine. It is also focused on the client as a whole rather than just a diagnosis or a symptom.

I love Eastern Medicine and bringing it into a relevant modern context is important to me. I am not a Western Doctor but I strive to give as much information as ethically possible so that you can take charge of your health and well being from an informed holistic point of view.

There are many good practitioners out there as well as many personal and professional styles. My style is relaxed, comfortable and accessible. I pride myself on playing relaxing but interesting music, using quality professional materials and doing my best to send you home happy, relaxed and on the road to recovery.”

Acupuncture

The needles are hair thin, flexible and sterile.

I use them to hack the body via a complex system of fascia that communicates with the limbic system which engages the endocrine system, fires off neurotransmitters, triggers the parasympathetic nervous system, etc, etc, etc.

I am happy to provide research.

Herbs

I get my herbs here: Dragon Herbs

They are the real deal. They make herbs for connoisseurs. I only trust a few companies to make the good stuff and this one is right at the top.

Nutritional Counseling

I don't want to tell you what to eat; I want to find out what you can't eat.  I use comprehensive blood testing to uncover food and chemical sensitivities that lead to a variety of chronic inflammatory and metabolic disorders.  *

I am also happy to help you go through your pantry and medicine cabinet to get rid of unnecessary or substandard supplements and help you shop for products right for you.

* additional charges for testing

Microcurrant & Electrostimulation

"I sing the body electric". - Ray Bradbury & Walt Whitman

“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic”. - Arthur C Clark

"When a child is born its sense-organs are brought in contact with the outer world. The waves of sound, heat, and light beat upon its feeble body, its sensitive nerve-fibres quiver, the muscles contract and relax in obedience: a gasp, a breath, and in this act a marvelous little engine, of inconceivable delicacy and complexity of construction, unlike any on earth, is hitched to the wheel-work of the Universe". - Nikola Tesla
